It's Official! Temperament Matters Most

A PHD student at UNE, backed by MLA and Beef CRC scholarships, Ms Linda Cafe has scientifically proven calmer cattle grow more quickly than temperamental ones and produce larger, better finished carcases with more tender meat.

This is great news for our slick,cool, calm cattle at Gouron Creek Senepol and for the Senepol Breed whose temperament is second to none. With Senepol this is a dominatly heritable trait, with Senepol F1 progeny exhibiting the docility of their Senepol parent.

Could this be the inflection point needed to send demand for Senepol through the roof? This finding by Ms Cafe could be as important to Senepol as the Feedlot Industry's obsession with Marbling was to the Angus Breed- the rest they say is history!
